Charles Robert Stewart

Charles Robert Stewart, 62, of Hertford, NC, passed away December 23, 2025 at his home.

Charles was born in Muskegon, Michigan, on March 3, 1963, and was the son of Robert Jerry Stewart and the late Elsie Lucille Brooks.

Charles is survived by his wife, Cathy Anne Stewart; sisters, Wendy DeBoer and Debbie Dowd (Pat); son, Andrew Collins (Krissy); daughters, Anna Meads (Jonathan), Kayla Northrup (Myron), and Ashley Kapala (Steve); and grandchildren, Kiya, Hunter, Peyton, Natalie, Bristol, Levi, Addison, Nathan, Sydney, and Jaxon.

Charles was a family man, he enjoyed spending all his time with his wife and children. When he wasn't at home, Charles enjoyed fishing and riding his motorcycle.

A memorial service will be held at 11 am, Monday, December 29, 2025 at Victory Baptist Church, 684 Old Hertford Hwy, Elizabeth City, NC 27909
