Carl Joseph Di Peppe

   Carl Joseph Di Peppe, 78, of 224 NC Highway 32 North, Sunbury, NC, died Thursday, April 28, 2022 in Accordius of Gatesville.

   Mr. Di Peppe was born in Chelsea, Massachusetts on April 12, 1944, and was the son of the late Joseph Louis and Eleanor Armstrong Di Peppe. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Di Peppe.

   A retired firefighter with the City of Norfolk where he was employed for 25 years, Mr. Di Peppe had served in the United States Army.

   Surviving is his wife of nearly 50 years, Madeleine Thorburn Di Peppe; his son, John Michael Di Peppe of Chocowinity; his sister, Serena Stout of Waynesboro, VA; and his brother, Arch Di Peppe of Fredericksburg, VA.

   In accordance with his wishes, no service is being held.
