Burfoot Leon White

Burfoot Leon White, 88, of 1018 Acorn Hill Road, Hobbsville NC, peacefully passed away at home, Saturday, October 24, 2026.

Mr. White was born in Hertford, NC on April 9, 1938 and was the son of the late Kader Silas White and Miley Hollowell White. He was preceded in death by his wife, Willie Jean Stallings White; sister, Sallie White Brickhouse; and brothers, Kader F. White, and Horace E. White.

Mr. White is survived by his his brother, Carlton B. White of Lakewhales, FL., and many nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.

Mr. White had a long and great career with C.A. Perry, he was a long distance truck driver for over 50 years. Mr. White also grew up in the fellowship of Woodville Baptist Church.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, October 28, 2026 at Stallings Family Cemetery, 232 Joppa Rd. Belvidere, NC 27919.
