Mrs. Arlene Stallings Dillon, 84, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 29, 2026.

Born on October 31, 1941, Arlene was the wife of 46 years to the late Roger Dillon and the daughter of Aleck Stallings and Ina Lane Stallings, both deceased. She retired from Tencarva Machinery Company. Arlene was a member of Providence Evangelical Friends Church in Virginia Beach.

Survivors include her three daughters, Lori Thomas and husband, David of Odenville, AL, Lisa Rawls and husband, Michael of Flower Mound, TX, and Andrea Bartlett and husband, George of Chesapeake, VA; six grandchildren, Ashley Anthony of Odenville, AL, Brandon Rawls and wife, Ellie of Seattle, WA, Jordan Hryekewicz and husband, Andrew of Argyle, TX, Payton Schilling and husband, Brad of Katy, TX, Seth Bartlett and wife, Sydney of Hertford, NC, and Noah Bartlett and wife, Bridget of Richmond, VA; two great-grandchildren, Beau and Teddie of Seattle, WA; sister, Janice Liner of Virginia Beach, VA; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services celebrating Arlene’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 3, 2026 at Providence Evangelical Friends Church, 5340 Providence Road, Virginia Beach, VA with Pastor Jack Sheid officiating. Interment will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at the Up River Cemetery, 195 Turnpike Road, Belvidere, NC 27919. The family will greet friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the church prior to the service.
