Ann Sawyer Dobbins

   Ann Marie Sawyer Dobbins, 64, of 143 Tunis Road, Winton, NC, passed away on Thursday, November 8, 2018, in her home.

   Mrs. Dobbins was born in Portsmouth, VA on December 30, 1953, and was the daughter of the late Phillip Preston and Trillis Peel Sawyer. A homemaker, she had formerly worked as a retail clerk. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Dean Dobbins; and by two sisters.

   Surviving are her daughter, April Marie Rush Saunders and husband, Jeffrey, of Stuarts Draft, VA; a granddaughter, Savanah Gutt and husband, Austin; two grandsons, Triston Saunders and Skyler “Boogie” Saunders; three sisters and three brothers.

   In accordance with her wishes, no services are planned.
