Andy Phelps, Jr.

   Wade Andrew “Andy” Phelps, Jr., 45, of 697 Ambrose Road, died Monday, May 9, 2022 in Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital.

   Andy was born in Washington County on July 4, 1976, and was the son of the late Wade Andrew, Sr. and Elizabeth Ann Baynor Phelps. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a niece, Heidi Spear.

   A foreman with Lee Electrical Corp., he was a licensed journeyman lineman.

   Surviving is his wife of 26 years, Kelli Biggs Phelps, and their children, Hunter Andrew, Evan Wade, and Reagan Irissa Phelps, all of Creswell. Also surviving is his sister, Sherry Warren (husband, Keith) of Edenton; a niece, Holly Holt; a nephew, Heath Patrick; great-nephews, Taylor, Tucker and Aaron; and a great-niece, Katline.

   A gathering for family and friends will be held Thursday, May 12^th, from 6 to 8 p.m. in Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, 735 Virginia Road, Edenton. The private burial will be held at a later time in Azalea Memorial Gardens.

   In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a college fund that is being established for his children.
