Amanda Kay Morgan

Amanda Kay Peeples Morgan, 61, passed away February 17, 2026 in Greenville, NC. Amanda was born in Edenton, NC on April 18, 1964, and was the daughter of the late Henry Oscar Peeples and Mearplene Hudson Peeples.

Amanda had a very passionate and loving personality, she touched lives with her humor, wisdom, and unwavering spirit of perseverance. In her spare time Amanda loved playing tennis, photography, sketching, being in nature, and searching for shells on the beach like she used to with her mother, Mearplene.

Amanda is survived by her daughter, Hillary Morgan and husband Chris; sister, Regina Keeter and husband Fred; nephews, Chris Sawyer and wife Heather, and Wayne Sawyer and wife Tina; great nieces Emily and Payton Sawyer, and many other family members.

Services will be held at a later date.
