Allie Marie Lane

Allie Marie Lane, 87, of Shawboro, NC, passed away January 21, 2026 at her home.

Allie was born in Shiloh, NC, on January 19, 1939, and was the daughter of the late Frank Bell Forbes and Lillian Gertrude Hernandez Forbes.

Allie and her late husband James Edward Lane, Jr. are survived by two sons, Bert Vann Lane and James Edward Lane III (Lisa); daughter, Janis Marie Lane; two siblings, Joseph Forbes and Johnny Dale Forbes (Melba); four grandchildren, Dawson Tyler Lane, Joshua Logan Lane (Heather), Jenny Marie Lane (Andrew), Jamie Lee Lane (Jennifer); five great-grandchildren with one on the way.

The family will be accepting visitors before the service at 1:00 pm in the church. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at Riddle Pentecostal Holiness Church, 945 S Sandy Hook Rd, Shiloh, NC 27974, with Pastor Jon Mason and Pastor Dale Forbes officiating.
