Betty Ann Jefferson Ali

Betty Ann Jefferson Ali, 69, of 232 Little Island Road, Eure, NC, died Thursday, September 27, 2012 in Down East Health and Rehabilitation in Gatesville. Ms. Ali was born in Guilford County and was the daughter of the late Ray and Mattie Gray Jefferson. A homemaker, she was a member of Mothers Inc. in Virginia Beach, VA. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three sisters, Faye Shelton, Helen Hedrick, and Mary Jarrell; five brothers, Wimpy, Homer, Billy, Robert, and Jimmy Jefferson; and by a grandson, T.J. Randall. Surviving are her two daughters, Michelle Bass of Eure and Tanya Hill of Pensacola, FL; a son, Danny Joe Hedrick of Virginia; a brother, Edward Jefferson of Greensboro; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
