Infant Corey Wallace Matthews, Jr., son of Corey W. Matthews, Sr. and Nancy Van De Walker, was born and died on Tuesday, April 9, 2013, in Albemarle Hospital, Elizabeth City. In addition to his parents, surviving are a sister, Isabella; brothers, Oliver and Branson; and paternal grandparents, William and Tina Matthews. Private services were held. Miller & Van Essendelft, Funeral and Cremation Providers, 1125 Harvey Point Road, Hertford, assisted the family with arrangements.
