Clarence Maywood Richardson, Jr.

Clarence Maywood Richardson, Jr., 62, of Joyce Creek Road, South Mills, NC, died Friday, February 14, 2014 in his home. Mr. Richardson was born in Norfolk, VA and was the son of the late Clarence Maywood, Sr. and Rosa Bancroft Richardson. Surviving are his two sons, Clarence Richardson, III and wife Kim of Elizabeth City and Brian Richardson and wife Brandi of Edenton; three sisters, Jean Johnson and Linda Shaw, both of Elizabeth City, and Charlene Denson of Hertford; his companion, Shirley Walker of South Mills; four grandchildren, Elizabeth, Aaron, Alyssa and Ashlee; and a great-granddaughter, Kayla. A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 1, 2014 at 12:00 p.m. in Grace United Methodist Church, 1822 N. Road Street, Elizabeth City. Friends may join the family in the church social hall immediately following the service on Saturday.
