Maxine Kessinger McClenney

Myrtle Maxine Kessinger McClenney, 87, of 1341 Paradise Road, Edenton, NC, died Wednesday, December 10, 2014 in Chowan River Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. Mrs. McClenney was born in West Virginia on July 29, 1927, and was the wife of the late William H. "Bill" McClenney. A homemaker, she enjoyed craft work and had attended Faith Pentecostal Holiness Church. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Geri Wilson. Surviving are two step-daughters, Faye O'Neal of Elizabeth City and Carol Culpepper of Chesapeake, VA; grandchildren, and other extended family members. Graveside services will be held Saturday at 2:00 p.m. in Beaver Hill Cemetery by the Rev. Danny Gurganus. Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, 735 Virginia Road, Edenton, is handling arrangements.
