Doris Carter Lilley

Doris Carter Lilley, 93, of Frisco, TX, and formerly of Gatesville, NC, died Friday, February 13, 2015. Mrs. Lilley was born in Gates County on March 15, 1921, and was the daughter of the late Ed and Nellie Mae Rountree Carter. She was the wife of the late Hollis B. Lilley, Sr. Surviving are her daughter, Jackie Lilley and husband Bill Russ of Frisco, TX, her step-son, H.B. Lilley, Jr. of Corapeake, NC; and her pride and joy, granddaughters, Carter Anderson and Laurence Anderson. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Feb. 26th, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home, 304 Main Street, Gatesville. Burial will follow in the Gatesville Cemetery.
