Janet Gray Agar

Janet Faye Gray Agar, 63, of Lexington Drive, Elizabeth City, NC, died Tuesday, June 2, 2015 in Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation, Elizabeth City. Janet was born in Perquimans County on June 4, 1951 and was the daughter of the late Johnie and Marguarete Cartwright Gray. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Mary Agar, and a brother, Johnie Ray Gray. Surviving are her two sons, John Agar of Chesapeake, VA and Michael Agar and wife Marcia of Fuquay-Varina; two sisters, Madeline Ausherman and Debbie Gray, both of Elizabeth City; and three grandchildren, Jackson, Carson, and Vivian Agar. At her request, no services will be held. Miller & Van Essendelft, Funeral and Cremation Providers, Hertford, is assisting the family with arrangements.
