John Dana Meacham

John Dana Meacham, 45, of Hopkins Drive, Elizabeth City, NC, died Monday, October 19, 2015 in his home. Mr. Meacham was born in Pinellas County, FL on July 24, 1970, and was the son of Joy Ann Shamblin of Hertford and the late John Reubin Meacham. A veteran, he served in the US Marine Corps and later retired from the US Coast Guard after a combined 22 years of service. An airplane mechanic, he also held a private pilot's license and was a member of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his son, Sean Dana Meacham of Pearl, MS. At his request, no services will be held.
