Keith Alan Mundie

   Keith Alan Mundie, 63, of 1589 NC Hwy 32 South, Hobbsville, NC, died Thursday, November 24, 2016 in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.

   Mr. Mundie was born in Norfolk, VA on June 26, 1953, and was the son of Emily Mott Mundie of Chesapeake and the late H.L. “Hank” Mundie. The owner of Mundie’s Trading Post, he was a member of Zion United Methodist Church and had formerly been active in the West Chowan Bass Masters.

   In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 43 years, Olivia Winslow Mundie; two daughters, Kimberly Mowell and husband Floyd of Jacksonville, and Amy Mundie of Hobbsville; three grandsons, Joseph, Benjamin, and Nathan Mowell; a sister, Bonnie Dailey; and three brothers, Mike, Jeff, and Henry Mundie.

   Funeral services will be held Monday at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home, 304 Main Street, Gatesville, and will be conducted by the Rev. Walter Johnston. Friends may join the family in the funeral home immediately following the service.
