Eileen Mays Touvelle

   Eileen Erma Mays Touvelle, 94, formerly of Canal Drive, Edenton, NC, passed away on Thursday, May 18, 2017, in Chowan River Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

   Mrs. Touvelle was born in East Liverpool, OH, on February 22, 1923, and was the daughter of the late Elda Ray Mays and Erma Martha Founds Mays. A former hairdresser, she was a dipper in the pottery, and was a member of Evangelical Methodist Church.

   In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Gary Homer McKee.

   Among her survivors are three daughters, Patricia Eileen Stipe, Annette Elizabeth Makar, and Michelle Jean Blaner; a son, Thomas Lee McKee; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other extended family members.

   Services are being arranged by the family, and Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, 735 Virginia Road, Edenton, assisted them with arrangements.
