Allen Dail, Jr.

   Thomas Allen Dail, Jr., 31, of Montpelier Drive, Edenton, NC, died Saturday, October 7, 2017, as the result of injuries received in an automobile accident.

   Allen was born in Chowan County on February 7, 1986, and was employed with Jimbo’s Jumbos as a line operator at their new oil roasting production facility.

   Surviving are his mother, Jackie S. Cobb and husband Robby of Merry Hill; his father, Thomas A. Dail, Sr. of Edenton; two sisters, Jessica Montgomery and husband Jamie, and Tori Dail, all of Greenville; his maternal grandparents, Maryland and Lillian Skittlethorpe, and his paternal grandparents, James C. “Pete” and Mary Elizabeth Dail, all of Edenton; and a nephew, Gavin Montgomery.

   A memorial service will be held Thursday at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, 735 Virginia Road, Edenton, and will be conducted by Pastors Ricky Bishop and Gary Williams. Friends may join the family in the funeral home immediately following the service.

   In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a church or faith based charity of one’s choice.
