Henry Lee Britt

   Henry Lee Britt, 63, of Sunbury, NC, died Monday, November 27, 2017 in his home.

    Mr. Britt was born in Suffolk, VA on September 10, 1954, and was the son of Mary Bessie Winslow Britt King of Suffolk and the late Henry Augustus Britt. Retired from Norfolk Naval Shipyard, he was an avid fisherman, and enjoyed tinkering and being involved with various projects.

    In addition to his mother, surviving are his wife of 42 years, Ann Fennimore Britt; two daughters, Jessica Wiencek and husband Lawrence of Petersburg, VA and Mary-Beth Sirry and husband Zach of Sunbury; two sisters, Faye Bright and Bessie Mae Mathias; a brother, David Wayne Britt, all of Suffolk; a granddaughter, Caroline; and his dear friends, Gus and Connie McDaniel.

    A private service will be held.  Miller Funeral Home, 304 Main Street, Gatesville, is assisting the family with arrangements.
