Arthur Boan, Jr.

   Arthur Lemuel Boan, Jr., 47, of 305 Mohegan Trail, Edenton, NC, passed away Sunday, March 25, 2018 after a long and hard battle with cancer.

   Born in Doylestown, PA on November 28, 1970, he was the son of Arthur Lemuel, Sr. and Beverly Wilson Boan. Employed with the Chowan County Water Department, he was a member of Faith Pentecostal Holiness Church.

   In addition to his parents, surviving are two sisters, Kelly J. Boan and Sherri A. Boan and partner Connie, all of Edenton; an aunt and uncle, Diane and Elwood Pullen of Lambertville, NJ; two nephews, Jimmy Herron and wife Laura and Kyle Herron and fiancée Bri; and several great-nieces and nephews and cousins.

   A memorial service will be held Thursday at 7:00 p.m. in Faith Pentecostal Holiness Church, 1614 Virginia Road, Edenton, and will be conducted by his pastor, The Rev. Danny Gurganus. Friends may join the family in the church social hall immediately following the service.
