Karen Evans Miller Funeral Director, graduate of East Carolina University with a BS in Nursing, graduate of Fayetteville Technical Community College, born in Chowan County, she with husband Paul have two children, Lindsey, a student at UNC-W and Evan, a student at The United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, CO.
 
Paul Miller Funeral Service Licensee, graduate of Gupton-Jones College of Mortuary Science in Atlanta, GA, a native of neighboring Perquimans County, with wife Karen and children are members of Rocky Hock Baptist Church.
 
David J. Van Essendelft Funeral Service Licensee, graduate of Mt. Olive College with a Business Management degree, graduate of Fayetteville Technical Community College, born in Beaufort County, he with wife Holly have two daughters, Jessica and Josie.  They live in the upstairs apartment at the Gatesville funeral home and are members of Covenant United Reformed Church.  
Michael Miller Funeral Director, graduate of Fayetteville Technical Community College, a native of Perquimans County, retired from the NC Highway Patrol after 30 years of service and began working with his brother Paul in the funeral business.  Married to wife Carol and they have two children, Chad and Gina, and five grandchildren.  Members of Providence Baptist Church in Shawboro.  
  Additionally we are pleased to have associates of our funeral homes that help us on a part-time basis.  We recognize their community involvement and feel fortunate that they take the time out of their schedules and family life to help us serve others.  They are:
